Spreadsheet Tips:
1. Enter your 'Starting Balance' and 'Monthly Income'. This calculates your 'TOTAL BALANCE' and the entire amount you should BUDGET.
2. ALL of the numbers and words in BLACK can be edited. The pie chart and colored text is all protected so formulas can't be deleted.
3. Change the categories and descriptions as needed. The key on the pie chart will update automatically upon changing the highlighted categories.
4. 'Personal' category: The 'ACTUAL' amount in the 'Debt Reduction' row will update the 'Debt Reduction' in red on the top right.
5. Take your 'SAVINGS' at the end of every month and enter it as your 'Starting Balance' for the next month.
